I was inspired by this card from Mary Brown.   She has a great blog called Stampercamper.  Ttake a look through it if you are needing any ideas.

I finally got a chance to use my waffle paper.  I glued it to some scrap paper and ran it though the big shot with elegant lines embossing folder. I think it is my favorite right now.  So pretty.  I used a color combo from my stampin up color suggestions.  Cherry cobbler, daffodil delight and early espresso.  I like it.  The waffle paper did tear a bit so I think I could call this a shabby chic style.

This card I made for the color challenge and sketch challenge at SCS this week.  The colors were cherry cobbler, chocolate chip and crumb cake.  This was an easy combo for me as I really like the way they go together.  Also having a sketch to start with never hurts eh!

I used the flower from Happiness Shared and the saying from Just Believe.  The papers are a combo from the stampin up DSP as well.  I had to look for a bit to find these colors in  DSP but was happy with how they went together.

Thanks for looking.  Have a great day!

Anniversay again

This is a card that my daughter wanted to make, she is 5.  We did it together and when she wasn’t looking I put a new greeting on it as I am in need of an anniversary card.

I used a computer generated greeting.  I wanted to use the new punch so used a japanese brush font.  It is pretty cool.  I will probably use it again.  I made my leaves with my Big shot and leaves die.  I used my friends never fade set to do the flowers and cut them out and added the rhinestone brads to it.

Still experimenting with my picture-taking.  Sure it will get better with trial and error.

Copic coloring again

Here is a card I have made to put in the Copic coloring challenge.  It is for shading.  I think it could use some work. I find the big space of her skirt a little bit hard.

I was unsure what to use as a background and accessories as I am so used to using stampin up colors that all match each other.  Have to start thinking outside the box for this.

Image is from Whiff of Joy stamps, I just love this one. So pretty and full of emotion.

Go with all your Heart

I just wanted to share this card with you today.  The original that I used for inspiration was made by my friend Crystal.  I loved how she colored the background paper and layered up all the pieces so here is my version.  Hope you  like it.
