Another week gone by

Here is this weeks color challenge, and it was too!  CC199, Handsome hunter, so saffron and bravo burgundy.  I had my new level two hostess set from Stampin UP’s January catalogue and had to give it a try.  I just love the flowers in this set.



After loading this I realized that I put the flower upside down.  Yikes!  I fixed it now but thought I would leave it for you all to have a good laugh.

Color Challenge card

Here is my submission for the color challenge on Splitcoast stampers today. Orchid Opulence, so saffron, and cameo coral.  Wow what a color combo. This is also for a sketch challenge from  SFYTT on splitcoastdscn2237

Stampin UP set:  Serene Spring (Hostess Set)

Colors:  orchid opulence, cameo coral, so saffron, and a little old olive

Accessories:  1 3/8 , 1 1/4, 1 inch circle punches, word window punch, stampin write markers, stazon black ink

I am quite surprised at how I actualy like this combination of colors.  It is very spring like and upbeat.

Accessories:  build a brad, 1/2 circle punch, two way glue pen, dazzling diamonds glitter, baja breeze ribbon

Sketches for viewing

Here are  a few sketches I did today and yesterday.  Hope you like them.  I am still working on how to post them and so it is not exactly how I wanted it done but I am still learning. I used my Flight of the Butterfly set from Stampin Up and the Banbury Designer series paper as my basis for each card.  Colors used are certainly celery, close to cocoa, bashful blue, and pink pirouette.

Here is a card I made today for the color challenge yesterday and sketch challenge today on Splitcoast stampers.

Color challange Anniversary

This Anniversary Card was made with the color challenge from last week on Splitcoast stampers. CC195


STAMP SETS USED:  Happy anniversary – Micheal’s, frames with a flourish – Stampin Up

Colors:  Sahara Sand, Basic black, very vanilla

ACCESSORIES:  very vanilla grosgrain ribbon, Bird Call EF, Kraft DSP – Hostess set

One of the other challenges on last week was to use an envelope as well, so I lined my envelope with Sahara Sand DSP from the Hostess sets.  I think is is a very elegant card with this simple design and color scheme.

New card and goody bag

Here is a box in a bag I just had to try.  I got the tutorial off  Hope you like it.  I think it would be great for our next stamp camp. 


This is a sketch challenge from splitcoast stampers as well.  SC203.  I had to try out my cuddlebug folder on this one.
