Hey Everyone!

Sorry I have been so delinquent in adding to my galleery.   I am trying to get back at it now.  I have a new card to post and will do so tonight after work.  Have a great day.

Stamp camp cards

Here are the card we made at my monthly stamp camp this week.  I am so happy to have the girls come and make cards with me.  They do seem to enjoy themselves too.  I have a great group.

This first card I used a faux wood grain technique.  I just love how this turned out.  Even the guys like this one.

Here is the next one. I taught the group how to make icicles with crystal effects and dazzling diamonds glitter.

dscn2188

To make the icicles you just run a bead of crystal effects on a piece of wax paper wide enough to cover the width of your card and then pull lines down from it to make the icicles.  Then you just dump your glitter on it and tap it off and let it dry.  I waited a day and them removed it from the wax paper, comes off easily.  Glue it on to your card with crystal effects or tombow adhesive.

Next card is made with one of my favorite color combos right now. Bravo burgundy, pink pirouette, so saffron and sahara sand.

Hope you all like them.

Sketch Challenge 200

It is hard to believe that this is the 200th sketch challenge on splitcoast stampers.  Wow they have been doing this challenge thing a while now.  Here is the card I chose to make for this challenge.  I am wanting to get a better feel for the tangerine tango color so worked exclusively with this color and whisper white as my neutral color.

STAMPIN UP SETS USED:  To have and to hold, Together Forever

COLORS:  Tangerine Tango and Whisper White

ACCESSORIES:  1 1/4 and 1 3/8 square punches, sponges, paper piercer, tangerine tango ribbon

Hope you like it.  Have a great evening.

CC190 and WSC63

Well I have been busy!  I started a new part time job on Monday and am loving it already.  This job I can make more money at even if I do love my hobby more.  It seems like it will be a great place to work, and it being close to home doesn’t hurt either.

Here is the card I got to make today, finally (think I was going into withdrawal).

I did a double challenge card again as I seem not to be having as much time for stamping for some reason. Hmm!

Color challenge on splitcoast this week was hard, pixie pink, tangerine tango, and kiwi kiss.  I also incorporated Beate’s weekend sketch challenge which I hate to miss.

STAMPIN UP SETS USED:  Humor in High Heels

Colors:  Pixie pink, kiwi kiss, pixie pink, whisper white

ACCESSORIES:  Tangerine tango ribbon, word window punch, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punches, scallop circle punch and sponge

If you have any suggestions on how to improve this one I would love to hear it.  I am not sure about all that white space.
