My version

I didn’t want to make it exactly the same so I changed the paper from the DSP that I used. The colors that are used are rose red, Baja breeze, always artichoke and pear pizzazz. I also used a glimmer Brad to attach my lace ribbon to the tag. I was able to incorporate my always artichoke seam binding ribbon along with my lace and pear pizzazz ribbons. I added a vanilla Rosette to the tag as well. I use the textured impressions embossing folder frame tulips.
I hope you all like this card as much as I do.
Owl Wedding

I saw this card on a blog and had to try it. It is so cute. I would not have thoughy of the details she put into it. Hope you like it.
I used my owl punch and bird punch to make this as well as my Teeny Tiny wishes set for the greeting.
Congratulations Card

This is a card I made for my work partner. She is going to a wedding on the 31st of December. The dresses for the girls are apparently red so I thought a little touch of red would be nice on the card. Hope you like it Linda.
I am still sad as the brown truck is now 4 day late in delivering my order. So still no playing with my new products. Waa!
I used my elegant lines embossing folder on this card and my work play stamp set. Red is of course cherry cobbler for cardstock and seam binding ribbon. I printed out the names on my computer to personalized the card.
Sponged Laughter

Yesterdays challenge on SCS was to use sponging on a card. Here is a card I have been wanting to make for a while, mostly because I have not used this posy stamp yet. I stamped it twice and embossed it, cut and layered it.
Today it was all about baja breeze. Hope you like it.
Copic Challenge 40

Wow, two posts in one day. I am behind. Here is the card I made for the Copic Creation challenge “Light Source”. My light source is supposed to be from the top. I tried the white gel pen accents this time too. Not sure if i love it or not. Practice, practice, practice.
I used Bo Bunny paper “Sophia” for the background paper and a great sticker from an accessory pack I got a while ago, probably a year or so. Hope you like it.
Here is an up close look at my coloring:
I think I am going to ask Suzanne at Scrap Bitz what I could do differently. Any suggestions are welcome.
Scrapbook on Canvas class
13 Dec 2010 3 Comments
I’ve been delinquent again. Sorry. Lots of snow days from school here, some without snow and now one with snow.
Saturday I held a class to make a scrapbook canvas. I have 5 ladies here to do the class and we had a blast. They each chose their own papers they wanted to start with, all from Stampin UP. 3 blues and 2 black and vanilla. It is so interesting how one idea turns into 5 very different and interesting beautiful works of art.
These are the canvases as they were finished except for one I did not get a pictures of. I will have to have Susan send me a copy or bring it next class so I can take a picture. I have to admit as always I am learning when it comes to taking pictures but this gives a pretty good idea how they turned out.
This is Annie’s:
This is Denise’s:
This is Margaret’s:
And last but not least this is Kathy’s:
I am most impressed with them all. It was great fun and I look forward to having the girls back next month for another card class.
Claire at the Beach

I came across these great pictures of my little girl Claire at the beach in Port Canaveral in Florida. She was almost 2. Look at her expressions here. I found when looking through pictures she did make some pretty amusing faces when she was that size.
I used the summer splendor paper on the MDS for the background along with the satin ribbon and some clouds from the sunny days kit. I am really happy with how this turned out, simple but cute.
This program is just too much fun.

Here is another attempt at My Digital Studio. I am trying to figure it all out but so far so good. I think it is going to be awesome. I am finding it pretty time-consuming still at this point as I am learning what it can do,
This is our nephew Justin and his new wife Ding. they got married in the summer and we had a lovely supper with them in London at the Delta Armories where they both work. It was a great evening with family and friends.

This is my latest and most interesting project. I took advantage of the great promo that Stampin Up had on and bought myself the Digital Scrapbooking program that they have come out with. I got it for half the regular price. Yeah!!
I hope my friend Denise does not mind me posting her picture on my blog. I guess I will know shortly. I am going to sent her the link to this right after I am done.
I have done about 5 pages on the program so far and I decided this is the one I wanted to share with you all.
I was also able to go to Scrappin Great Deals today and do some make and takes there. I also brought along my little girl Claire. We both had a wonderful time and I got to play with some new products that I have not tried before. I will have to share some of them with you later.
Thanks for looking.
Top note box

I made this top note box a while ago and thought I would share it with you today. I used the top note die and cut out a top and bottom out of card board. Then I cut out the designer paper to cover it and made a little box to fit in the middle. I love how it turned out. I used my five petal flower punch and scallop circle punch to layer up the flower on the top. Then I used the build a brad kit to add the brad in the middle.
Hope you like it. Have a great day.
